About Us

The Lincoln Rural County Fire PD has been dedicated to protecting residents and properties within its jurisdiction since its formation on December 2, 1946. Governed by a five-member board elected at large for four-year terms, LRCFPD operates under the Fire Protection District Law of 1987 (Health and Safety Code 13800-13970).

Our district covers approximately 8,083 acres, including several unincorporated areas within the City of Stockton and regions north of Eight Mile Road. To ensure excellent fire protection, we contract with the City of Stockton, utilizing their resources and expertise.

SERVICES PROVIDED:

The Lincoln Rural County Fire District (FPD) provides fire services to several unincorporated islands within the City of Stockton and to an area north of Eight Mile Road. The total service area of the District is approximately 8,083 acres. The District contracts with the City of Stockton to provide fire protection.
